To my fellow candidates,
The Engineering in Training examination is a very important test that is provided twice a year by the NCEES. Passing this exam will certify you as an Engineer in Training, and will allow you to enter the never-ending learning career of engineering and start gaining more experience and training.
As you may know, it requires time, effort and discipline to prepare effectively for this exam. Some quick guidelines to start including on your lifestyle in preparation for the April 14th 2012 exam are provided below:
Prepare physically: Sleep the right amount of time everyday, so it helps you operate at full capacity; exercise, because it can enhance the ability to process and recall information; and include foods on your meals that provide high levels of mental energy; like fish, bananas, complex carbohydrates; Fruit and vegetables.
Prepare Mentally: Rehearse for this exam. I recommend using the methodology that Adam Robinson suggest to use in his book “What Smart Students Know” (ISBN: 0517880857) to help you prepare for this exam. Even if you are a current or formal student, I think his guidelines are very valuable.
If you would like more information on how to be coached personally to help you pass the next October 26th 2013 exam, you can contact me via email at luisa@parawells.com. I can help you set up schedule of study, understanding concepts needed, lead problem discussions and most importantly, track your progress. Sometimes, having someone to help you in this journey is all you need to reach our goals.
To your success!
Sincerely,
Luisa Wells, BSCE, EIT
